*The Velvet Promise*

All of England rejoiced on her wedding day. But Judith vowed that her husband would get only what he took from her! At the flower-bedecked altar, the first touch of their hands ignited an all-consuming passion. Gavin Montgomery looked deep into her golden eyes and burned with desire for her...but his heart had been pledged to another. Humiliated and alone in a strange castle, Judith resolved to hate this husband who took her body, but rejected her love...never admitting her fear of losing him. But destiny held another fate for Judith...a fate that would keep at last ...The Velvet Promise.

It should have been the first but...

Anyway, here it goes... Judith and Gavin, the first story among the series and I think... I think lang ha... That this story started it all. Started the Montgomery story. First time I ever read this one -since ilang beses ko na rin siyang nare-read eh- I already love them. First I love Gavin, I fell in love with the story and the place and also the lead characters. It is such a beautiful combination and I learn to hate Alice Chatworth. Such a very effective villainess.

I love the bonding of the brothers, and most of all I love the genre. Romance and Historical. I really love historical.

Anyway, going back to the book. Hindi siya nakakasawang basahin, for me, while reading it for the third time, maraming mga bagay akog nalaman na hindi ko nalaman noong una at pangalawang beses ko siyang basahin.

Next would be Highland Velvet, going to re-read it soon so I could put my review here already, its long overdue eh. =)) At hindi na ako makapaghintay na dumating sa story ni Miles and Elizabeth since silang dalawa ang paborito ko sa lahat.
